Paulie doesn’t believe that remembering September 11, 2001 need be reserved for an anniversary date each year. That’s why, in addition to the Push efforts that have taken place in the leadup to each 9/11 since 2021, Paulie speaks at schools and community groups year-round. He also pushes the cart in parades and 5K races - often with the RV, which is emblazoned with photos from the Push. Paulie aims to raise awareness for the hero ‘first, first responders’ of 9/11 - the flight crews - and in doing so, for September 11th itself.
“We said we’d #NeverForget,” Paulie says. “We never said we’d be limited to remembering one day, or one week, or one month out of the year.”
In addition to speaking on topics related to the Push and the flight crews, Paulie sometimes speaks on his own personal battles with addiction.

SPEAKING EVENTS
In addition to raising awareness for the heroism of the ‘first, first responders’ of 9/11, and focusing on memorializing September 11th itself, Paulie speaks at schools and community events throughout the northeast and across the nation. His story educates and inspires audiences of all ages - indeed, he’s spoken at primary schools, secondary schools, colleges, corporate events, and flight crew retiree groups. PARADES
Paulie also pushes the cart in parades, sometimes appearing with the RV. If you think that a processional honoring the hero ‘first, first responders’ of 9/11 might seem out of place amidst the revelry of a St. Patrick’s Day celebration, you’d be mistaken - Paulie’s Push is a popular favorite of parade goers at the nation’s first St. Patrick’s Day parade in South Boston, where he’s appeared every year since 2024. 5K RACES
On the Push, Paulie’s often heard to say “I’m definitely not an athlete…” but that doesn’t stop organizers of 5K and other running and walking events from inviting Paulie to appear, usually with the cart. He’s appeared annually at the Amy King Memorial 5K in Celeron, New York - Amy was a colleague of his on United 175 - as well as other events across the nation, including running events in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Sarasota, St. Petersburg, and more.
