“One of the most inspirational stories in all of America.” That’s what ABC News 27 in Harrisburg, PA called Paulie’s Push 3: Flight 93 when retired flight attendant Paul Veneto pushed his airline beverage cart through their city on a 300-mile journey from Newark-Liberty International Airport to the National Flight 93 Memorial in Stoystown, PA last summer.

Paulie made it to Shanksville, just like he made it from Boston-Logan International Airport to Ground Zero in 2021, and from Washington-Dulles International Airport to the Pentagon Flight 77 Memorial in 2022. Later this year he’ll reprise the original route, as he embarks on Paulie’s Push 4: American Flight 11 beginning in mid-August.

Paulie’s team consists of a small group of volunteers who do everything from drive the RV to map out his route and track the cart’s progress in real time. Chris, who handles digital and media relations for the Push, can often be seen parked up ahead, filming Paulie at various locations along the route. Social media followers of Paulie’s Push can watch Paulie’s progress via photos, video, and live video on the official Facebook page and Instagram account.

“Fans of the Push become heavily invested in Paulie’s mission,” Chris says. “They’re not just checking in on occasion - many are watching his progress on the route map, and proactively checking his social media accounts throughout the entire journey. It’s a privilege to be able to connect Paulie and his mission with an audience that includes many in the very communities we’ll pass through along his journey.”
